The Laguna Blanca girls golf team turned in an impressive performance in winning a Tri County Athletic Association match at Buenaventura Golf Course on Thursday.
The Owls’ five players all shot in the 30s, with three finishing under par, in beating four schools with a team total of 175.
Jayla Provance was the match medalist with a 4-under par 32 for nine holes. Abby Kim and Emma Shubert each shot 2-under 34, while Luz Shubert finished at even-par 36 and Keira Hay shot a 3-over 39.
The Owls finished 48 strokes ahead of second-place Foothill Tech (223), which had one player shoot under par, Sophia Lewis with a 34.
The other schools will full five-member teams included La Reina and St. Bonaventure. Bishop Diego competed with three golfers.
