The Santa Barbara Parks and Recreation Department is seeking musical acts for the 2023 Concerts in the Park series, the free, family friendly summer tradition that has brought a variety of musical entertainment to Chase Palm Park since 2000.

“This event is a great way to bring the community together each summer,” said Rich Hanna, recreation manager. “We were thrilled to bring it back in 2022 and are exploring ways to make 2023 even better.”

Weekly concerts will take place 6-7:30 p.m. each Thursday in July.

Musical acts wanting to be considered must submit a completed band application at SantaBarbaraCA.gov/Concerts by Wednesday, Feb. 22.

Bands must include links to their music, details about their audience demographics, and be able to demonstrate their success at similar events. The official lineup will be released in the spring.
