Project Connect utility relocation work is underway in Goleta and will continue for several weeks with heavy traffic impacts expected on Hollister Avenue between State Route 217 and S. Kellogg Avenue.

Alternating eastbound and westbound lane closures will be necessary during this construction, the city reports.

Work is taking place 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday. Drivers, cyclists and pedestrians are advised to use caution when in the area. Travelers are urged to take alternate routes if possible.
