More than 30 intersections across Goleta are getting improvements to traffic-signal equipment.
Crews began working on Monday and will continue through August to support safety, accessibility and traffic operations, according to a press release.
Construction for the intersections is scheduled during the week, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
However, some of the larger intersections in the city will be worked on at night from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. to limit traffic impacts.
On Tuesday, crews were working at the Hollister Avenue and Entrance Road intersection, assembling traffic lights.Â
The city advises residents to expect some minor delays during peak commute hours, lane closures, temporary parking restrictions and the presence of construction equipment.
