Laguna Blanca’s seven-person swim team earned a fourth-place team finish at the Tri-Valley League finals on Friday at the Ventura Aquatic Center.
While the Owls came in fourth place as a team, the boys squad captured second place in the meet.
Bennett Sullivan and Matthew Sullivan led the charge with a pair of TVL championships apiece. Bennett came out on top in the 100 freestyle and 100 breaststroke, while Matthew won the 100 butterfly and 200 IM.
Siobhan Murphy rounded out the individual winners with a first-place performance in the 500 freestyle.
The Laguna Blanca boys 200 freestyle relay team of Bennett Sullivan, Matthew Sillivan, Yikai Feng and Jake Wyatt finished atop the podium in their race.

The Owls will now compete in the CIF-SS Prelims next week.

Tierney Clark represented the Cardinals well as the school’s lone swimmer at the league finals on Friday.
Clark won the 100 freestyle with a time of 55.7 seconds and touched second in the 200 freestyle after recording a time of 2:00.25.
She will compete in both events in the CIF-SS Prelims next weekend.
