A Tribute to Linda Ronstadt, a musical celebration of one of the most iconic voices in American music history, will take place at the Lobero Theatre in Santa Barbara, 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12.
The event, presented by EMG Entertainment will feature lead singer Shannon Rae and Ronstadt Revival, a tribute band honoring Ronstadt’s legacy.
Ronstadt Revival will offer perform faithful renditions of Ronstadt’s most beloved hits, from the soulful ballads to the high-energy rock anthems.
Ronstadt is widely regarded as one of the most versatile and powerful voices of her generation. She has won 10 Grammy Awards, three American Music Awards, and an Emmy Award, and has sold 100 million records worldwide.
She sang her last concert in 2009 due the effects of PSP, a neurological disorder that affects movement and has sadly ended her singing career.
Ronstadt Revival musicians share a deep admiration for Linda Ronstadt’s music and legacy, with a dedication to capturing the spirit and sound of her performances, along with interesting and funny anecdotes from her life.
“Linda Ronstadt’s music is timeless, and it’s an honor for us to keep her legacy alive through our performances” said Rae.
Tickets for A Tribute to Linda Ronstadt are on sale at Lobero.org and at the Lobero Box Office, 805-963-0761. Section A tickets are $82, Section B, $72, Section C, $62. (Ticket prices include a per ticket Lobero Facility Fee; other fees may also apply.)
