Two people were injured, one critically, in a single-vehicle crash in northwest Santa Maria on Sunday night.

At approximately 9:45 p.m., personnel from the Santa Maria Fire and Police departments were dispatched to North Blosser Road at Eagleton Avenue.

One person reportedly was ejected from the vehicle that rolled over and landed in the center divider, while a second occupant escaped the wreckage, according to emergency dispatch reports.

Emergency personnel conducted a search of the area after being told a third person might have been involved in the crash, but did not find another victim.

One of patients suffered major injuries and was taken to Marian Regional Medical Center, while the second had minor injuries.

The names of the injured and details on their conditions were not available.

Officers from the Police Department Traffic Bureau were investigating the crash.
