Question: What is the name and date of your event?
Answer: All Gaucho Reunion from April 18 – April 21, 2024
Q: What is the mission, goal, and/or theme of this occasion?
A: All Gaucho Reunion is an alumni and community event at UC Santa Barbara’s beautiful campus, designed to reconnect friends in a social setting, provide opportunities for exploration and learning, build community and relive cherished memories.
Q: Have you held this event before?
A: This is our 18th year celebrating All Gaucho Reunion!
Q: Tell us some more details about your celebration?
A: From April 18th to April 21st, 2024, join us for 50th Reunion celebrations for the class of 1974, the Taste of UCSB featuring music from The Joystix, Prof Slam – our 3-minute lightning lecture event, Communication Career Day, Jazz Happy Hour with The Matt Perko Trio, Tai Chi with Emanual Garcia ’07 instructor of the Lau Kune Do Temple, and much more.

Ticket prices vary by event and are available for purchase day-of. All Gaucho Reunion guests receive complimentary campus during the weekend. Guests must register for the parking code.
Q: Is this a fundraising affair? If so, how will the funds raised help your organization?
A: Although this is not a fundraising affair, we welcome contributions to the Alumni Gaucho for Life Fund which supports alumni professional development and programs that foster ties between UC Santa Barbara and its alumni.

Q: Who is sponsoring your event, and why is their support important?
A: We are thrilled to have the generous support from our presenting sponsor, Aflac, as well as our gold sponsors, El Encanto, Go Goleta, Santa Barbara Airbus, Santa Barbara Independent, The Club & Guest House at UC Santa Barbara, and Noozhawk. Q: Do you work with an Event Planner? If not, who are the key people who make it all happen?
A: Organized by the Office of Alumni Affairs and Alumni Association Board of Directors, All Gaucho Reunion is a campus-wide event made possible by the contributions from the entire campus community. We are so grateful to all of our campus partners for their dedication to making this event a success year after year.
Q: Does your organization have any other upcoming events this year?
A: On May 22nd, we’re hosting our next Gaucho Academy with Dave Parker ‘83. David Parker ’83, MS, will take us through his highly successful job search process that has helped thousands of job seekers land rewarding jobs in both weak and strong markets. Job seekers have used his process to secure positions in more than 65 different industries, on seven continents, and in hundreds of fields. Register here.
Q: What are you planning as a post-event follow up?
