The UC Santa Barbara Baseball team’s season is not over yet as Caesar Uyesaka Stadium will be one of the 16 NCAA Regional sites for this year’s tournament as announced by the Selection Committee on Sunday night.

This comes after the Gauchos finished with a 42-12 record as they overcame multiple obstacles throughout the season. UC Santa Barbara Baseball is the only NCAA team to be undefeated at home while winning the Big West Championship.

This is the first time the Gauchos have hosted a regional since 2015 when the team hosted at Lake Elsinore, and the first time a regional will be hosted at Caesar Uyesaka Stadium since its expansion.

Tickets for the Santa Barbara Regional will go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, May 28 at 4 p.m. PT.

The teams attending this regional will be announced on Monday morning, May 27, at 9 a.m. PT. The Selection Show will be streamed on ESPN2.
