The game against Missouri State will be the regular season opener on Aug. 22, though the Gauchos will play a pair of exhibition matches prior to that.
The first action of the year comes on Aug. 10, when Santa Barbara will play a Blue-Gold Scrimmage at Harder Stadium, and the Gauchos will welcome San Diego State to town for a friendly a week later, on Aug. 17.
Santa Barbara will play a third exhibition later in the season, hosting Westmont for the 61st rendition of the Community Shield on Sept. 14.
Following the curtain-raiser against the Bears, Santa Barbara will head to the Midwest for a pair of matches, visiting Kansas City on Aug. 29 and Oral Roberts in Tulsa on Sept. 1.
When the Gauchos return to the West Coast, they will welcome UNLV to Harder Stadium on Sept. 6, then travel to Stockton and take on Pacific on Sept. 9.
They welcome New Hampshire to town on Sept. 13, then host the Community Shield against Westmont on Sept. 14.
Santa Barbara’s last out-of-state action is a trip to Orem, Utah on Sept. 19, where they will take on Utah Valley. The Gauchos return to California to host Portland on Sept. 22, then travel to San Luis Obispo on Sept. 27 for the non-conference leg of the Blue-Green Rivalry.
Big West play begins on Oct. 2 with Santa Barbara hosting UC San Diego, followed by the second leg of the Blue-Green Rivalry on Oct. 6, also at Harder Stadium.
The Gauchos follow that up with two road matches, at Cal State Bakersfield Oct. 9 and UC Irvine Oct. 12, then return home to play UC Davis on Oct. 16.
The Gauchos are in action in the state capitol on Oct. 19, visiting Sacramento State, then back in town for their final homestand, Oct. 23 against CSUN and Oct. 26 against Cal State Fullerton. The regular season concludes on the road at UC Riverside, Nov. 2.
