Senior outside hitter Ryan Wilcox led the Gauchos with 13 kills, including back-to-back shots early on to give UCSB a 3-0 lead in the first set. The lead proved short-lived, however.
Wilcox added two blocks to his match output.
Fellow outside hitter Dayne Chalmers had eight kills with only three errors for a .333 clip. He also contributed two blocks.
Max Gordon had eight digs, and Jack Walmer dished out 28 assists.
