UC Santa Barbara Soccer is hosting the annual American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) Skills Day on Saturday at Harder Stadium from 9 a.m. to noon.
The free skills clinic is open to all AYSO-affiliated players and coaches and is on the same day as UCSB Men’s Soccer’s matchup with Westmont at 7 p.m. It will be Westmont’s first action as a Division II program.
The clinic is split by age group, as players in U5 through U8 divisions will participate from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. while the U10 through U18 age groups will be on the field from 10:30 a.m. to noon.
This is the first of two AYSO-related community events being put on by UCSB Soccer this year.
The Gauchos are hosting their annual Banner Parades at Harder Stadium for the Men’s Soccer game against Utah Valley on Saturday, Sept. 9 and the Women’s Soccer matchup with Isaho on Sunday, Sept. 10.
Coaches can register their team for the Banner Parades through the Community Programs page under Men’s Soccer and Women’s Soccer on ucsbgauchos.com. Registration is not required to attend Skills Day.
