Laurel Rockwood had a career game for the UCSB women’s basketball team, recording a double-double of 18 points and 12 rebounds in a 102-42 rout over Division 3 Cal Lutheran at the Thunderdome on Wednesday.
It was the second 100-point game of the season for the Gauchos, who improve to 7-3.
Rockwood made 8 of 11 shots, and the Gauchos shot a season-best 54.5% from the field.
Alexis Whitfield also had a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds.
Taylor Mole set a career high of six assists in the first half. The Gauchos had a season-best 31 assists in the game.
UCSB blew the game open in the second quarter, outscoring Cal Lutheran by 22 points while shooting 66.7%. The Gauchos led 61-17 at half, their second highest first-half total in program history.
