The UC Santa Barbara Women’s Soccer team released its 2024 schedule on Friday, June 21.
Head Coach Paul Stumpf enters his 25th season at the program’s helm, guiding the Gauchos through a 20-match slate.
Following a home exhibition against Trinity Western, UC Santa Barbara will open the 2024 season against LMU on August 15. The Gauchos will then hit the road for match before returning home as they travel north to take on Sacramento State on August 22.
The Blue and Gold will return home after a short road trip with a match against Fresno State on August 25. They will then hit the road again, this time traveling south to take on San Diego.
The Gauchos will return to Harder Stadium again to open up September as they host San Jose State on September 1.
After their match against the Spartans UC Santa Barbara will hit the road again, this time traveling out of state to take on New Mexico on September 5 and Colorado College on September 8.
Following the out-of-state road trip, Santa Barbara will return home for two matches before kicking off Big West competition. The Gauchos will host the University of Omaha on September 12.
That same weekend they will also host Pacific on September 15. These two matches will conclude the non-conference portion of the Gauchos schedule.
The Blue-Green Rivalry between UC Santa Barbara and Cal Poly will kick off Big West play on September 19. The Gauchos return home for their Big West home opener a week later as they host UC San Diego on September 26.
Santa Barbara hits the road after their opener, traveling to UC Riverside on Sept 29.
The Gauchos will open up October at home for two games as they host Long Beach State on October 3 and UC Irvine on October 6. Following the two-match home stand Santa Barbara is back on the road for three straight matches.
The Blue and Gold first travel to Cal State Fullerton on Sunday, October 13 before taking on Cal State Bakersfield and CSUN on October 17 and 20 respectively.
Santa Barbara will close out the regular season with a two-match home stand against UC Davis on October 24 and Hawai’i on October 27.
Postseason play will begin on November 3 with The Big West Quarterfinal round. The following weekend will hold The Big West Semifinals and Final match on November 7 and 10.
UC Santa Barbara’s Early Bird Season Ticket Sale is still going on and will continue through July 17. Fans can catch 11 matches for just $75.
