UCSB is hosting the Golden Coast Conference men’s water polo tournament at Campus Pool, Friday through Sunday.
The champion of the six-team tournament earns an automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament.
Pacific and Long Beach State are the top two seeds after finishing in a tie for first place in the standings at 4-1. They have first-round byes into the semifinals.
Third-seeded UCSB (3-2, 13-12 overall), UC Irvine (2-3, 15-12), Pepperdine (2-3, 13-13) and San Jose State (0-5, 10-15) play first-round games on Friday.
Irvine and Pepperdine square off in the tournament opener at 5 p.m., followed by the Gauchos against San Jose State at 7 p.m. UC
In Saturday’s semifinals, Pacific (19-6) plays the UC Irvine-Pepperdine winner at 5 p.m., and Long Beach State (20-8) takes on either UCSB or San Jose State at 7.
The championship game is Sunday at 2 p.m.
Single-game tickets and single-day passes must be purchased online.
No printed tickets will be sold at the gate or the UCSB Ticket Office.
