The eighth-ranked UCSB men withstood a fourth-quarter comeback by No. 10 San Jose State to prevail, 10-9.

Sam Nangle, Brock Zamanian and Adam Gyenis scored two goals apiece to lead the Gauchos. Dash McFarland, Ryan Brosnan, Tommy Hawkins and Colton Gregory also scored for UCSB.

UCSB took an 8-4 lead into the fourth period, and came away with the narrow win.

Gaucho goalie Danny Roland had five saves.

The Gauchos, now 2-2, play at Stanford Sunday.
