Space Launch Delta 30’s routine semi-annual base exercise at Vandenberg Space Force Base has been paused until the morning of Nov. 20.

The exercise focuses on the installation’s ability to respond to an emergency management crisis.

During the remainder of the exercise, individuals on and off base may see and hear base-wide announcements, temporary street closures, potential lockdown procedures, and Force Protection Conditions Level changes.

Expect intermittent traffic delays at all Vandenberg Space Force Base gates.
