The city of Ventura is seeking artisan vendor applicants for the annual 4th of July Street Fair, which runs 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on July 4 in Ventura’s Downtown District and attracts more than 15,000 attendees.
This year will feature additional events and activities celebrating the nation’s 250th anniversary of independence.
Eligible vendor groups include artisans, nonprofits, and food vendors. Sponsorship opportunities are also available and listed online.
In last year’s post-event survey, 100 percent of participating vendors replied they were interested in returning for next year’s event.
Vendor applications are due by 5 p.m. Friday, April 3. Applications must be submitted online via the city’s website.
“The 4th of July Street Fair and parade is a beloved tradition in Ventura, with more than 15,000 attendees,” said Rebecca Ellis, recreation manager. “Residents look forward to participating in the parade with their decorated bikes, wagons, and colorful outfits. The event attracts many visitors who travel to celebrate with us each year.”
