Cottage Heart & Vascular Center will offer a free Virtual Meet the Doctor, featuring cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon Dr. Michael Paulsen, 4-5 p.m. Thursday, April 17.
Dr. Paulsen will lead a conversation on minimally invasive approaches to cardiac surgery; highlighting advances in cardiac surgery.
The discussion will focus on heart valve-saving procedures, and minimally invasive techniques that enhance treatment options and improve quality of life for patients with heart disease.
Dr. Paulsen will provide an overview of common heart conditions, their causes and symptoms, as well as strategies for prevention and the latest surgical options.
The event will also feature a Q&A session, offering attendees an opportunity to have their questions answered directly by Dr. Paulsen.
