The Santa Maria Public Library and California State Parks will present a free virtual exploration of the Morro Bay State Park’s estuary habitat, 10 a.m. Saturday, May 11 in the library’s Shepard Hall, 421 S. McClelland St.

Participants will learn from a park interpreter how Southern Sea Otters, an endangered species, have adapted to their environment and what can be done to help them.

There will also be information about the library’s adventure backpacks and California State Library Parks Passes.
