Santa Ynez’s Von Gordon shot his second five-under-par in a row to maintain the Championship Flight lead on day two of the Santa Barbara City Golf Championship on Sunday at SB Golf Club, a par 70.
Gordon is now 10-under-par through two days, closely followed by Hudson Vedder, who shot a nine-under-par on Sunday to skyrocket into second place.
San Marcos High sophomore Austin Downing rounds out the top three in the Championship Flight at seven-under-par after going two under on Sunday.
Gordon, Vedder and Downing will be joined by Paddy Blinderman in the final group on Monday’s Final Round at 9:42 a.m.
The Championship Flight will begin at 7 a.m. on Monday morning with 18 total groups teeing off.
While Blinderman was slotted into the final tee time, he is knotted up with Chris Gregoire and Dos Pueblos senior Teddy Vigna at six-under-par.
In the Men’s Palmer Flight, Yogi Ten holds a three-stroke lead after finishing two days at six-under-par. He is followed up by a three-way tie between Arron Goodin, Robert Moncrief and Andrew Torres.
Stephen Green leads the pack in the Hogan Flight at five-under-par. Jaime Dale (+8) and J.R. Tricas (+9) currently sit in second and third, respectively.
The Nicklaus Flight is a tight race, as Chris Dailey is in front at seven-over-par but Justin Triplett and Jeff Chaffin are just behind him at eight-over-par.
Mark Antinucci and Robert Lopez are on their heels as well at nine-over-par through two days.
The Patty Berg Women’s Flight could come down to the wire on Monday, with Heather McGinnis leading the five-person field at three-over-par.
Meanwhile, Maggi McMillan is five-over-par and stands alone in second place. Sohini Pillay and Norah Dunbar are tied for third place at six-over-par.
