MOVE Santa Barbara County has announced the return of Iluminando la Noche, Nov. 3-7, when hundreds of free, rechargeable bike lights will be given to local cyclists.
To facilitate the event, MOVE is looking for volunteers to help install lights on bikes; direct bike traffic to keep everyone safe; and hold signs to let cyclists know about the event.
“It’s a fun, hands-on way to make a difference. You’ll be helping hundreds of riders stay visible and safe during the darker winter months while supporting MOVE’s mission,” organizers said.
All events begin at 5 p.m., volunteers should arrive at 4:30 p.m. for setup; activities will wrap up by 6:30 p.m.
