After going undefeated at the Hope International Summer Slam this week, the Westmont women’s volleyball team was swept at home by Corban University of Salem, Oregon, 25-15, 25-19, 25-0.
The Warriors, ranked No. 9 in NAIA, drops to 4-1 and Corban, ranked 15th, is now 5-0.
“Their defense was amazing, they passed well, and they just outplayed us,” Westmont head coach Ruth McGolpin said.
Addie Paul led the Warriors with eight kills, and Jessie Terlizzi added seven.
Freshman libero Kaili Hashimoto had nine digs. Keelyn Kistner led the squad in digs and assists with 14 and 13 respectively.
Westmont gets another shot on Saturday, hosting Corban again, with a 2 p.m. start in Murchison Gym.
