William Bennett Simms, 85, of Santa Barbara, died on Sept. 16, 2019. He was born on Sept. 7, 1934.

Visitation will be 3-5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, at Welch-Ryce-Haider downtown chapel. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 27, at Lewis Chapel, 202 E. Gutierrez St., Stanta Barbara.
