A wind advisory was issued Saturday for Santa Barbara County’s South Coast and mountain areas.

The advisory, in effect from 6 p.m. Saturday until 3 a.m. Sunday, was calling for northwest winds of 15-30 mph, with gusts to 45 mph, according to the National Weather Service in Oxnard.

Affected areas include South Coast communities, mountain passes and backcountry wilderness areas.

Sunny skies are expected Sunday and through the coming week, with some night and morning low clouds and fog.

Daytime highs Sunday should be in the upper 70s, with a gradual cooling trend through the week.

Overnight lows are expected to be in the low 50s.
