Lompoc Parks and Recreation has announced the results of its annual skateboard competition, held July 13 at Lompoc Skate Park.
The event was open to skaters ages seven and older, and was co-sponsored by Surf Connection. Lompoc Foursquare Church provided refreshments.
Six skaters participated in the masters category, for ages 19 and older, and one each in the ages 13-15 category and the 16-18 category.
Winners are:
Ages 13-15: 
Severin Tejada, Lompoc, first place
Ages 16-18:
 Jason Mance, Lompoc, first place
Masters 19+:
 Jason Smith, Oxnard, first place; Sam Badey and Lawrence Daniel, both of Lompoc, tied for second place
