Santa Barbara-based singer and songwriter Zach Gill will host a live, virtual musical performance, 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11 on the online performance venue StageIt, in support of the nonprofit Montessori Center Schoo l(MCS) in Goleta.
Gill is lead vocalist of the rock band ALO, and a longtime member of Jack Johnson’s band.
The evening’s interactive hourlong performance will include a selection of original music, classic covers and holiday favorites.
The top five event donors will receive a special gift from Gill — he will perform and record their custom song request on video, along with a personalized message.
All proceeds from the event will benefit MCS’s Annual Fund, which supports vital programs for the school including STEAM education, teacher salaries, and classroom resources; as well as investments in the school’s facilities and operations due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Tickets are priced as pay-what-you-can with a suggested donation of $20 per viewer, $35 per household. Tickets can be purchased online at StageIt.
