Slick roads played a part in a five-vehicle early morning collision on southbound Highway 101 at Gaviota on Thursday, Santa Barbara County fire Capt. Eli Iskow said. There was only one minor injury reported.

One lane of the freeway was closed as emergency personnel responded to the 5:30 a.m. accident, Iskow said.
