On July 8, the Santa Barbara Police Department arrested Susana Eguiron Vidarte, 43, for passing numerous insufficient funds checks at various retail locations within the city.
The investigation is ongoing, and police say there are probably additional unidentified victims in the case.
The department asks the public to call Detective Brian Sawicki at 805.897.2326 if they were a victim of checks written by Vidarte.
