The Wildling Museum will reopen to the public on Saturday, Nov. 7 with modified public walk-in hours, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Visitors can visit a new exhibit in the Valley Oak Gallery honoring the Wildling’s 20-year history, 20/20: A Retrospective, on view through Feb. 14. Also on view is the recently extended main floor exhibit, Starry Nights: Visions of the Night Sky, which runs through Jan. 31.
The museum, at 1511 B Mission Drive, Solvang, will assess County Covid-19 reports regularly and may adjust hours over time. Visitor information is regularly updated on the Wildling Museum’s website.
Current Wildling Museum members may also visit by appointment starting Wednesday, Oct. 28. Current members may schedule appointments to visit 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesday-Sunday by contacting Julie Mock, julie@wildlingmuseum.org or 805-688-1082.
The Wildling Museum is following public health guidelines as advised by the CDC and Santa Barbara County to ensure the safety of visitors and staff. Visitors are advised to review current COVID-19 policies and procedures prior to their visit at www.wildlingmuseum.org/visit.
The Wildling Museum will also continue its virtual programming series highlighting art and nature topics, now sponsored by Montecito Bank and Trust.
