When things go wrong for tweens and teens, it can feel overwhelming, whether it’s failing a test, being excluded from a group chat, struggling with body image or identity, or not making the team, according to Laguna Blanca School.
To help parents help their kids navigate those challenging years, Phyllis Fagell, a licensed mental health therapist, author, and school counselor from Maryland, will offer some practical strategies, 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11 at Laguna Blanca School’s Spaulding Theatre, 4125 Paloma Drive.
Fagell will share advice on how parents can support their kids in managing stress and anxiety related to friendships, academics, life balance, and technology.
