Next up at Movies in the Park in Santa Maria is “Moana 2,” Friday, Sept. 19 at Rotary Centennial Park, 2625 S. College Drive.

Before the free outdoor screening, families can enjoy a Polynesian Luau Party, 6-7:30 p.m. The festivities will include games, light refreshments, activities for all ages, and prizes.

“Moana 2” reunites Moana and Maui three years later for a new voyage alongside a crew of unlikely seafarers. After receiving an unexpected call from her wayfinding ancestors, Moana must journey to the far seas of Oceania and into dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike anything she has ever faced.
 
Moviegoers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and snacks. The screening will begin at dusk, around 7:30 p.m.
