The Granada Theatre will present a holiday screening of “The Grinch,” 6 p.m. Dec, 12, and to celebrate the film’s 25th anniversary, the theater will hold a social media-driven, pay-it-forward scavenger hunt, for which some 100 free tickets have been hidden at Santa Barbara businesses.
The scavenger hunt runs Nov. 20-24, with daily social media clues pointing to six Santa Barbara businesses. Each location has a limited number of vouchers redeemable at The Granada box office for the Dec. 12 screening.
The vouchers can be used or given to someone. Vouchers are also available at the box office starting Nov. 20 for anyone unable to visit the other locations.
Participating partners’ names are confidential at this time, organizers said.
