Art From Scrap, a creative reuse store at 302 E. Cota St. in Santa Barbara, is open again with new hours 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. Donations will be accepted during Saturday open hours.

Art From Scrap is expecting to be busy, so shoppers are asked to be patient and good-natured during their visits. The number of people in the store will be monitored with a total of six individual customers allowed in at a time.

Thanks to a grant administered by the Santa Barbara County Office of Arts and Culture and provided by the city of Santa Barbara, Art From Scrap was able to reopen safely following COVID guidelines.

Every year, the city of Santa Barbara through the Santa Barbara County office of Arts and Culture is committed to supporting the arts and artists in the community by giving grants to a number of arts organizations.
