The Santa Barbara Trust for Historic Preservation will host the 17th Annual Asian American Neighborhood Festival, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday, Oct 18 at El Presidio de Santa Bárbara State Historic Park, 123 E. Canon Perdido St.

“Held in the heart of the Presidio Neighborhood, this free, family-friendly outdoor event celebrates Santa Barbara’s AAPI communities, cultures and history with live performances, walking tours, artisan vendors, hands-on activities, and educational booths,” organizers said.

The event is expected to include:
Live traditional and contemporary performances.
Cultural crafts and hands-on activities for all ages. 
Local Asian American artisan vendors and food trucks.
Exhibits, demonstrations, and guided walking tours sharing Asian American history in Santa Barbara.
