The Lompoc Public Library is offering a new, free program for teens interested in learning about  babysitting. Babysitting 101 and is for youth ages 13-18.

The four-week course will be 4:30-6 p.m.
 Tuesdays, Oct. 1, 8, 15 and 22.

Babysitting 101 will cover the basics of starting a babysitting business, tips on interacting with clients, and activity ideas.

Battalion Chief Kevin Shay of the Lompoc City Fire Department will also be coordinating basic first-aid training for participants.
