Two doctors have opened an ear, nose, throat, head and neck surgery practice in Santa Barbara.
Dr. Dale Amanda Tylor and Dr. Stephanie Culver have launched Riviera ENT at 1819 State St.
The practice opened in January and offers “cutting-edge treatments in a facility that is modern and comfortable.”
“We are so excited to be able to offer patients ENT care in Santa Barbara that might have required travel to a large city until now,” Tylor told Noozhawk. “And, moreover, to do so in a modern and comfortable setting that actually makes a doctor’s visit an enjoyable process.”
Tylor, from Montreal, Canada, started her career with an academic practice at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn., transitioned to private practice in the San Francisco Bay Area, and then settled in Santa Barbara. Tylor is the only fellowship-trained pediatric otolaryngologist in the county.
She completed otolaryngology residency training at the University of Florida and pediatric otolaryngology fellowship training at Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego, which is affiliated with UC San Diego. She also has completed a master’s degree of public health from the University of Liverpool in the United Kingdom.
Culver, originally from Delaware, completed medical school in 2012 and otolaryngology residency training at the New York University School of Medicine in Manhattan, N.Y. She also completed fellowship training in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery in Beverly Hills.

Riviera ENT offers a procedure room with the option to perform in-office nasal and sinus procedures and facial plastic surgery, video capabilities in exam rooms, personal televisions in exam rooms, upscale furnishings, a child’s waiting area, and a restroom with an infant changing table.
Both physicians relocated to Santa Barbara in recent years. Their goal is to help each patient achieve ear, nose and throat wellness with “individualized treatment plans that are not one size fits all.”
The surgeons also plan to make use of a LightScalpel CO2 laser this month, which offers faster and more comfortable care for those with lip and tongue ties, according to a news release. The two plan to launch a retail store in the office offering ear, nose and throat products.
The center can be reached at 805.EAR.NOSE (805.327.6673). Tylor said the center accepts Medicare, Cigna and CenCal insurance plans and they expect to be on all major plans in the months to come.
“We are working with patients to keep costs down,” she said.
Trevor Large Promoted

Large will support the firm’s mission to provide strategic and practical legal advice across each of its practice areas, according to a news release.
As managing partner, Large’s goal will be to support the firm’s attorneys.
“I want to acknowledge and thank my predecessor, Tim Buynak, for the work he has done to establish and evolve the firm over the past seven years. As we move into 2020, I look forward to growing our firm, which will further cement BFAS as a leading California law firm, a valued community resource and a trusted provider for sound legal counsel,” Large said in a statement.
The firm focuses on business, employment, litigation, real estate and land use, and estate planning.
