Santa Ynez Valley is getting ready for a day of spice and sips at the 2025 Buellton Wine & Chili Festival, noon-4:30 p.m. Sunday, March 16 at Flying Flags RV Resort.
The annual event brings together local wines, craft brews, spirits, and a sizzling chili and salsa cook-off.
Attendees can watch and participate in the Chili Cook-Off, a friendly competition where local businesses, residents, and daring participants face off to see who can whip up the best chili and salsa in the area.
Restaurants, nonprofit groups, community members, and those eager to showcase their culinary skills can register at https://buelltonwineandchilifestival.com/.
Beyond the food and drinks, the festival offers dancing to live music from a lineup of entertainers, including Jared Nels, known for his genre-blending sound and signature yodeling; Sound Investment band playing classic rock, pop and country hits; and DJ FIU, who has been spinning popular beats for over 20 years.
Nearby residents and visitors staying in Santa Barbara, Goleta and Santa Maria can hop on the Brew Bus for $25 round-trip, while those coming from Lompoc can ride for $20.
Tickets must be purchased in advance; they will not be available at the shuttle departure. Visit the Buellton Wine and Chili Festival website for more details on pickup and drop-off locations.
