Community Arts Music Association of Santa Barbara, Inc. (CAMA) has announced its concert season for 2026-27, the organization’s 108th season.
Titled Virtuosi, the season brings world-renowned orchestras, celebrated recitalists, and chamber artists to Santa Barbara in performances that highlight musical mastery, breadth of expression, and the enduring power of live classical music. CAMA said.
The program celebrates the world-class artistry of today’s great virtuosi, with featured soloists, conductors, and chamber musicians representing 14 distinct national and cultural backgrounds.
There will be five concerts in CAMA’s International Series at The Granada Theatre and four concerts in CAMA’s Masterseries at the Lobero Theatre.
CAMA’s International Series opens Wednesday, Nov. 11 with Orpheus Chamber Orchestra and pianist Isata Kanneh-Mason.
The series continues Sunday, Feb. 7 with the Minnesota Orchestra, music director Thomas Søndergård, and violinist Augustin Hadelich; Sunday, March 14, with the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields and pianist Conrad Tao; Saturday, April 17, with the San Francisco Symphony, conductor Sir Donald Runnicles, and pianist Francesco Piemontesi; and Friday, April 30, with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, conductor Paavo Järvi, and violinist Vilde Frang.
CAMA’s Masterseries opens Saturday, Nov. 21, with the Juilliard String Quartet, joined by pianist Simone Dinnerstein.
The series continues with pianist Hélène Grimaud on Monday, Dec. 14; pianist Nikolai Lugansky on Thursday, Jan. 21; and Friday, May 21 with violinist James Ehnes and pianist Orion Weiss.
The 2026-27 season offers both major orchestral evenings and intimate recital experiences, CAMA said.
International Series programs range from Händel, Mozart, Haydn, Prokofiev, Debussy, Vaughan Williams, Brahms, Bartók, and Schumann to music by Thomas Adès, Ruth Crawford Seeger, Conrad Tao, and Katie Jenkins.
At the Lobero Theatre, audiences will hear repertoire by Ravel, Bartók, Schumann, Beethoven and Schubert, alongside programs shaped by some of today’s most searching and distinctive musical voices.

Season subscriptions are now available through CAMA. International Series five-concert subscriptions range from $165-$695. Masterseries four-concert subscriptions range from $220-$260, with discounted Masterseries prices available to International Series subscribers.
Single tickets for the 2026-27 season go on sale Thursday, Sept. 10 through the Lobero and Granada theatre box offices.
