Two teams scheduled to play basketball at Westmont College this week have had their flights canceled and will not be able to participate in this week’s tournaments.
Carroll (Mont.) is unable to send their men’s team to participate in the 45th annual Tom Byron Classic. The event will be cut from four games to two as a result.
Likewise, Health Sciences & Pharmacy (Mo.) is unable to get its women’s team to Santa Barbara for the Westmont Holiday Classic. That event will also be limited to two games.
The new times for the four remaining games:
Thursday: Westmont Holiday Women’s Classic — Westmont vs. Southeastern, Fla., 12 noon; Tom Byron Men’s Classic — British Columbia vs. Vanguard, 2:30 p.m.
Friday: Westmont Holiday Women’s Classic — Southeastern vs. Vanguard, 2:30 p.m.; Tom Byron Men’s Classic — Westmont vs. British Columbia, 5 p.m.
