More than $1,200 worth of copper pipe and brass sprinkler heads stolenfrom a Carpinteria fire protection and equipment business remainmissing. The unknown burglar climbed over the security fence along the5600 block of Carpinteria Avenue gaining access to the company yard.Most of the piping, about 20 feet in length, would’ve made the suspecteasy to spot at the time of the theft. A paintball mask found at thecrime scene was booked as evidence.
