Crowds filled the Arlington Theatre for two tribute events this weekend honoring actors and artists for their work in the film industry.

The Santa Barbara International Film Festival held the Virtuosos Award on Saturday, honoring actors for their noteworthy performances in film, and Variety Artisans Award on Sunday, for people with innovative and exciting work in the industry.

Virtuosos honorees this year included:

Variety Artisans honorees this year included:

• Stephane Ceretti – VFX (“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3”)
• Billie Eilish and Finneas – Songwriter (“Barbie”)
• Ludwig Göransson – Composer (“Oppenheimer”)
• Sarah Greenwood & Katie Spencer – Production Designer (“Barbie”)
• Kazu Hiro – Hairstyling/Makeup (“Maestro”)
• Jennifer Lame – Editor (“Oppenheimer”)
• Rodrigo Prieto – Cinematography (“Killers of the Flower Moon”)
• Michael Semanick – Sound (“Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse”)
• Holly Waddington – Costume Designer (“Poor Things”)

The film festival runs through Feb. 17 and has award events, industry panels and film screenings still to come.
