Santa Maria CHP will be starting the CHiPs For Kids toy drive Friday, Nov. 28. Every year Santa Maria CHP collects unwrapped toys to provide them to children in the community.

Last year the drive provides 700 toys to students at Bonita Elementary School.

“This year we will be collecting unwrapped toys to give away at a different elementary school in hopes to provide a little extra Christmas cheer,” organizers said.

Toy drop off locations in Santa Maria are:

Walgreens, 707 N. Broadway during store hours.
CHP booth at Walmart, 2220 S. Bradley Road, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Nov. 28-29 and Thursday-Saturday, Dec 4-6.
