Discover the Wonders of Rocks, Minerals, and Lapidary Arts at the 58th Annual Orcutt Mineral Society’s Rainbow of Gems Show,

The Orcutt Mineral Society will hold its annual Rainbow of Gems Show, July 31 and Aug. 1-2 at Nipomo High School, 525 N. Thompson Ave., Nipomo. The event is free to attend.

“This event is a must-attend for rockhounds, collectors, families, and anyone captivated by the beauty and science of earth sciences and lapidary arts,” organizers said.

The show will include:

A silent auction where attendees can bid on unique specimens and lapidary treasures. Also on tap will be hourly prize giveaways.
Local food trucks.
More than 60 dealers offering a range of high-quality rocks, minerals, fossils, beads and gemstones.

Club displays and demonstrations: Exhibits curated by society members showing their skilled lapidary work transforming raw stone into jewelry and art.

Raffle and kids activities: Purchase tickets for a chance to win collectibles from our Treasure Chest. Kids can enjoy educational activities like Spin the Wheel.
