As the holiday season approaches, Elks Recreation, Inc. invites the community to the 5th Annual Christmas in the Country drive-through event in Santa Maria.

Festivities begin Friday, Nov. 29, lighting up the Elks Event Center, 4040 Highway 101, every Friday and Saturday night, leading up to the grand finale Tuesday, Dec. 24.

At the drive-through visitors will take a magical journey through twinkling lights, festive displays, and creative exhibits — all from the comfort of their own vehicles.

To make the event a success, the Elks Club is calling on local businesses, nonprofits, and community members to be part of Christmas in the Country by helping to showcase the local holiday spirit.

Reservations for display spaces are currently being accepted, and there is no cost to participate.

Sponsorship opportunities are available as well. Sponsors will enjoy unique benefits, including increased exposure throughout the event and recognition on event materials and promotions.

Additionally, participants can dedicate a Christmas Tree or an In Memory of Angel to honor of a loved one.

• Reserve a display space: Create a unique, light-filled holiday scene for visitors to enjoy.
• Be a sponsor: Support the event while promoting your brand.
• Volunteer: Lend a hand and be part of the magic behind the scenes.
• Donate decorations: Donations of outdoor holiday lights, artificial Christmas trees, and other decorations to enhance the event’s displays are being accepted.
