Looking to take action on climate change, but don’t know where to start? The Community Environmental Council (CEC) is offering a CEC Climate Stewards certification program that equips participants to work in their community to advance rapid and equitable solutions to the climate crisis.
The nine-week course, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesdays, April 17-June 12 via Zoom, focuses on the work being done on California’s Central Coast to address and alleviate climate impacts.
Participants will be offered:
• A deeper understanding of the psychology and science behind climate change.
• Tools and resources to forge greater community connections.
• Skills to effectively communicate about the climate crisis.
• Opportunities to join the movement.
