To increase convenient access to health care, Cottage Health has begun opening Cottage Urgent Care Centers, for treatment of minor injuries and illnesses. Urgent Cares will be in storefront locations — from Camarillo to San Luis Obispo — and open 365 days a year, 8 a.m.-8 p.m., providing walk-in clinic services. The conveniently located Cottage Urgent Care Centers are filling an important need for communities to quickly access care during extended hours. Each Cottage Urgent Care Center is staffed by a licensed nurse practitioner and patient concierge team members dedicated to assisting patients during their visit and ensuring an efficient and comfortable care environment. Each center includes X-ray and lab services. If a patient has a more serious medical condition, they may be referred to a local Emergency Department for more appropriate care. Our goal is complete care within 45 minutes. Walk-ins are welcome and online appointments are available.
