The Santa Maria Recreation and Parks Department and P.L.A.Y., Inc. will host the first Denim & Diamonds Family Dance, 6-8 p.m. Sunday, March 16 at the Veterans’ Memorial Community Center, 313 W. Tunnell St., Santa Maria.
The event invites all families with children 17 years and under for an evening of music, dancing, and fun. All adults must be accompanied by a child.
The Denim & Diamonds Family Dance will feature a western glam theme; attendees are encouraged to dress in Western-inspired outfits with denim and diamond-themed accessories.
Festivities include a live DJ playing family-friendly music, light refreshments, and a decorated photo-op area. There will also be interactive games and activities for children.
Tickets are $15 per adult and $10 per child, and may be purchased at www.santamariaatplay.org.
