Dos Pueblos and San Marcos will be the only two softball squads representing the Santa Barbara area in the CIF-SS Playoffs this season.

The Chargers will look to make a deep run in the Div. 3 bracket while the Royals will head into the Div. 4 playoffs.

Dos Pueblos finished the regular season with an overall record of 13-10 and a league mark of 10-4, good for a third-place finish in the Channel League.

As a result, the Chargers will face off against Martin Luther King High (15-9, 3rd in Big VIII) of Riverside in the Wild Card Round.

Dos Pueblos will be on the road for this matchup, which will be on Tuesday at 3:15 p.m. The winner will take on Arcadia (11-8, 1st in Pacific) on the road on Thursday at 3:15 p.m.

San Marcos wrapped up the year just behind Dos Pueblos in the standings, finishing in fourth place in the Channel League with a 9-5 league record and an overall record of 14-7.

The Royals will also have to hit the road for their opening matchup, heading down to the Pasadena area to take on Flintridge Sacred Heart (14-10, 2nd in Sunshine).
