The Granada and Earl Minnis will present Psychedelic Symphony 2: Take Another Trip, 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, again bringing together The Doublewide Kings and The Santa Barbara Symphony, led by music and artistic director Nir Kabaretti.

Following last year’s Psychedelic Symphony, the groups are joining forces to take audiences on another journey through the mind-expanding music of the1960s and ’70s, organizers said.

This year’s show will feature a fresh lineup of psychedelic-era classics, combining The Doublewide Kings’ rock sound with the full orchestral sweep of the symphony.

Patrons can expect music celebrating iconic artists including Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin and Jim Morrison.

Attendees are encouraged to dress the part and embrace the psychedelic spirit with the Psychedelic Costume Contest.
